Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Custody

My daughter's husband has threatened to take his 2 children out of Texas and go back to Colorado with them. She would like to know what to do first. He has not been able to fully support the children since 2001 and would not have employment or a home to live in when he gets them to Co.

Has she filed for divorce yet? Is she in Harris county?

She must file for divorce in the county they are currently living in. If she waits, eventually Colorado will have jurisdiction over the family.
