Child Custody

If I'm getting a divorce and my soon to be ex-spouse wants to give up his rights to our kids and he is paying child support do child support stop if not can I continue to received child support even if he has given his rights up.

It's not likely that a judge will allow him to give up his rights to the children just to get out of paying child support. You might get limited visitation or supervised visitation if that is necessary. The judge looks at what is in the best interest of the children - not what is in your best interest or whatever interest the father is considering for termination of his parental rights.

Yes, you should still be receiving child support money even though he gives up his rights.
