Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Custody

I just got a divorce in illinois because my spouse is in the military, I moved to texas over 6 months ago with my child my spouse and I had a verbal agreement with my now ex that he could spend 2 wks with our son and I would get him back on the divorce date, when I went to get my son my ex told me I couldn't see him again. No custody was awarded in the divorce because Illinois didn't have jurisdiction over my son. I know what I need to file but i don't know if the forms from legal forms would be ok. So I need some direction

Re: Child Custody

A lawyer is ethically prohibited from telling you what "forms" are OK to file. You will either have to hire a lawyer to help you, figure out it out all be yourself or leave your son where he is. Good Luck.
