Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child custody

My exwife moved to another state, she has sole custody and I have standard texas visitation. She has not let me see or talk to my daughter in a year and I have been asking her for my summer visitation rights. I sent her my written request for summer dates before May 1 like the papers state. She has told me that she is not going to let my daughter come to taxas to stay with my family. She told me that since she has sole custody, she has the right to make that choice. Is this true or does she have to let my gaughter come stay with me as per the divorce decree. She wont even let me have her for fathers day weekend. Let me add that there is no issue with me not being a stable fit father, she just doesnt like me anymore. I am the father of a 7 year old and 7 month old triplets that all live with me and are very well taken care of by my wife and I.

Re: child custody

You are entitled to visitation according to the decree. You need to file a motion to enforce. (BTW wasn't there a geographical restriction in the decree, meant to avoid this problem?)
