Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Custody

I would like to know how I can have full custody of my daughter. I currently have joint custody and my daughter lives with me. Because of my situation with her father I want to seek full custody of my daughter. As it is right now he does not see her unless I take her to him without notice. His social life is more important then spending time with my daughter. He has never really been active in her life and i do not want put my daughter through any kind of hurt from him. We have had a violent past for a number of years, and i did lieave town for almost a year already. I just want to be able to obtain full custody of my daughter and cut all ties with her father.

Re: Child Custody

I'm not sure what you mean by sole custody.

In order to "cut all ties" to her father, he would have to be a really, really bad guy. Probably then his visits would be supervised through the SAFE program.

If you want a free phone consultation, please call me.

I need to know the date of your last court order and the court your case is assigned to.

Best of luck,
