Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child custody

I want full custody of my 1 yr. old and have fights with his father. I can't afford a lawyer. Is there a way to do this for free. Also I have never recieved child support and don't feel he should see him, can I keep him away from his verbally abusive father?

You will need a lawyer. If you can't afford one, I suggest you contact the local bar association. They should be able to refer you to pro bono providers in you area such as Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid.
