Child Custody Information
I have been served with papers asking me to relinguish parental rights to my son so his mother can put him up for adoption. We were not ever married, nor did she advise me she was pregnant before she moved out of my home. What do I have to do to get my child?

Reimburse her for her medical expenses associated with the birth, pay up all child support arrearanges and be prepared to show the court why you have not been involved in the child's life until now.

You also need to file a document called an "Answer" letting the court know that you want to be involved in the case.
If you don't, there will no further notice from the court.
You are only required to be notified that there is a lawsuit pending.
