I need t know what rights teh step-mom has when the non-custodial parent will be asbent from visits he will be deployed to irag, will his wife have any rights to all his visits? Our court papers states that he may asign someone to pick her up from our disitnated area, does that mean that she still has all rights to holidays and visits,

Re: child custody issues

The visitation and possessory rights belong to dad, not dad's new wife. On the other hand, if she isn't evil, it would be gracious of you to allow the children that time, at least some of the time. It would be a nice gift to the kids, and to their dad in Iraq. Just a thought.
