Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child custody

I live in Texas and am divorced. My 9 year old son goes to his father's every 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekend of each month. My son does not like to go there. At what age does my son have to be to where I can legally not make him go to his dad's and his dad not say I have to make him go?

You won't like this -- sorry! -- 18.

If there is a reason (physical torture, etc.) then you can ask the court to modify the current visitation.

If it is serious, courts can and do restrict visitation if it can be proved.
