Child custody
I am eight month pregnant and married. We are seperated and are going to get a divorce. What is the usualy custody for an infant

If the two parents cannot reach an agreement, the judge will have a hearing to determine what is in the baby's best interest. There are rarely 'average' circumstances -- every case differs. Often, however, parents will be appointed joint managing conservators, with one person having the primary right to determine the residence. The other parent would get visitation, and pay child support, medical insurance and half of the un-insured medical.
You need to retain a lawyer, as every case is significantly different, and many factors determine the outcome.

I agree with Ms. Langford. You would probably win, but your chances go down if he has an attorney and you don't. And he won't necessarily tell you what he is going to do until he does it.
