Child Custody

My Mother is raising my niece of 10yrs of age, I her Aunt support financially, Grandmother is looking to seek legal custody, both of the divorced parents do not provide any type of support and have agreed to give up their parental rights.

More than one way to do this. May want to consider guardianship or adoption. In California those proceedings are handled in probate court. Good luck.

Your mother should go to court and ask for custody.
