Child custody question

I am currently pregnant and not working and was ordered to pay child support to my ex boyfrined. A friend told me and i read on a website somewhere that because I'm pregnant and not working, i can't be forced to pay child support. My ex is trying to take me to court and have me put in jil for not paying. what do I do?

Re: Child custody question

Take your toothbrush with you to court. Just because you're pregnant and not working does not stop the child support obligation. Don't listen to friends who are not Family Law attorneys. Better get one for yourself. Good Luck.
