child custody schedule a

my ex-wife has vititation rights with our three children (one week-end per month) plus other occasions as laid out in schedule a

she asked me to bring the children to our usual meeting place for mother's day week-end

i did not do this as she has a regular week-end visit schudled for may 26th

can she file on me for contempt of court for not bringing them?

also our daughter had to see an out of town dr. on the date she wanted me to bring them to meet her

i would not have been on time and she was threatening me with this also

what can i do?

If you are not complying with the Order for visitaion, she can file a motion for contempt. Usually, judges require a pattern of missed visits before they will issue an order of contempt. Sometimes, this will result in increased visitation at the expense of the offending parent and usually some $$ charges for contempt. It can also result in a 6-month jail sentence.
