child custody
My son has never been legally married. He has a son and wants to get custody of him, can you advise on what he should do?

Re: child custody
He needs to hire an attorney that regularly handles paternity suits. This is not a do-it-yourself area.

Re: child custody
He has to establish paternity.
He can ask the court to order DNA testing for him and the kid in order to do that. He'll have to pay for the DNA test. Shop around and find the cheapest company in town. Prices vary from $300 - $600!
He can then have the court order that the child's birth cert. be fixed.
He can then ask for custody or visitation.
