child custody split

i was wondering about laws concerning split custody my soon to be ex wife and i have 2 children age 1and2 we have agreed that each of us will have one child stay with us she has the 1 year old i have the 2yr old with visitation on wkends or whenever the other wants to see the children how does tx law apply to this and how will it affect child support thank you

Generally speaking, if you and your wife can reach an enforceable agreement, and demonstrate that it is in the child's best interest, then the judge will approve it. If the time shared with the children is fairly equal, then is it reasonable to agree to no child support. Retain an attorney to reduce your agreement to a proposed order. There are many legal nuances that will still have to be addressed.
