How much child support will be deducted from my paycheck? I've heard it is 20% or whatever The other attorney asks for, also is it based on gross income or net income?

Re: Child Custody and Support

It's 20% for one child based on a chart that the State of Texas prepares. It might be available on the Texas Attorney General Website.

You are also required to pay for health insurance plus 50% of all uninsured medical.

I strongly urge you to retain an attorney to make sure you are treated fairly.

You can also find a chart in the Texas Family Code available online.
