Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child custody

my wife and i moved to texas 3 years ago. she has a 14 year old from a previous marriage. she was granted permission to move to TX, original documents were filed in NJ and in the paperwork it states that it should remain in NJ. Now non custodial parent says we violated terms and wants the child back to NJ.

If the "permission" was not granted by the court, then there is a problem. If the paperwork says it should remain in NJ, then you will have to seek a Motion to Transfer in NJ. If NC parent is just getting around to complaining that might be some help. You're in a pickle. Better get a NJ lawyer. Good Luck.
