At what age can a child decline visitation with an out of state parent ( before age 18 of course )

The age at which the child can refuse is when the parent is no longer concerned about being held in contempt for not complying with the court's order - which would be after the child turns 18, of course. You see, the parent is the one mentioned in the order and there is no provision for the child to make a decision not to comply with the order.
