if a child drops out of school, is child suppoort still enforced?

There are a couple of issues there.

First, if the child is under 18, the answer is an easy YES.

Second, if the child is over 18 and drops out, then child support probably is no longer payable BUT the AG will continue to withhold wages unless you file a motion to stop the child support and get an order from the court.

If there is no wage withholding order in place and the child is over 18 and nothing else in the order requires you to pay child support past the age of 18, then you are probably safe to quit paying. I would take the order to a local family law attorney and ask him or her to review before I just stopped paying, though.
