Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
child emancipation
I previously inquired about when is it legally considered that your child has emancipated. My situation is that there is 2 1/2 months from the time my son graduated from high school until he moves out of my house and attends college. In this time frame should I still recieve child support for him while is living in my house as I am still providing a secured air conditioned home, meals for nourishment, water for showers and clean clothes, a garage to park his vehicle, electricity for his computer, tv and xbox.

Re: child emancipation
No, you don't get child support after he's 18 and out of high school even if he's living at home. If you continue to support him after that it's your choice not your duty and there is no duty for your ex to keep paying child support.
