Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Child Endangerment
One of my staff member took in a troubled teen, but the teen is out of control. (She does not have legal guardian rights) The staff member called the police after an altercation with the teen. Due to the violent tendencies of the teen, the staff member does not want the teen around her young child , but the officer told the staff member she could be charged with child endangerment if she does not find a placement for the teen. Is this true?

Re: Child Endangerment
Trying to answer questions based on third hand information just isn't smart and there is just too much information that isn't here. The safe thing is for your "staff member" to call a good family law attorney and ask her own questions.
