Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child & Medical Support Modification

Ex wife was ordered to pay $148 a month in CS (based off minimum wage - since no one knew where she worked) and ordered to provide medical insurance. For the past 2 years I have only received a total of $360 in CS - and no medical support.

Our decree does not specify an amount for medical coverage. If I was to obtain insurance through my job - decree states that she is to reimburse me back. We are to split any cost of medical visits 50/50. I have yet to receive anything from her.

Ex lives in North Carolina. I have signed an Interstate form through OAG. Nothing has happened!!!!!

I am currently remarried and would like to modify the order to show that the EX will have to reimburse me or my wife for medical support. And or assign a specific dollar amount for medical support.

Will OAG do this - the modification of changing the medical support amount? I have been told that my file is up for review and I can request modification through them. Is this correct? What is the best way to do this?

No contempt charges have been filed. Costs too much but I am saving up to have it done by the end of the year if non payment continues.
