Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child modification

I going thru a child modification battle we are set to go to trial he did not want to come in for mediation im very worried im single mom used my last money for legal services.He has a good paying job. He said i will go work at a min paying job until this is over. he is a ugly person he wants nothing to do with my child. Can he do that? Please help

He is experiencing RAIDS - recently acquired income defeciency syndrome. It is a common problem in Harris County courts! The Judges see it all the time.

If you are ordered to go to mediation and he does not appear, the mediator will let the court know.

Where I live, if the judge orders mediation - you go. The fact that he is paying a big-time attorney, should be pointed out the judge.
