Can Child Refuse To Go On Visitation
Given the lack of specific verbage in decree, can a 12 year old child refuse visitation with her father? What verbage would indicate a requirement to go? Is the mother in contempt of court if child doesn't go?

Re: Can Child Refuse To Go On Visitation
Dealing with children who refuse to visit is a tricky issue. The short answer is that your job is to encourage the child to visit. If the child refuses, you could very well be held in contempt of court unless you can convince the judge that you really tried to make the child go to visitation.
