child residency

i am a mother and have an older daughter by another guy my currenr husband asked me for a divorce and i had moved to travis county in texas with my girlfriend the judge ordered me to bring my daughter back to harris county and and that i have to be here with her there are temporary orders in place how long do these order remain in place? I didint have an attorney he did so how long will it be before i am divorced?

I would strongly urge you to retain an attorney.

Since you moved away from Harris County, that is why you are having to transport the child.

How long until the divorce is final? Depends.

How long do temp. orders remain in place - until the divorce is final or the case is dismissed and you remain married.

Check around for attorneys that you can afford.

You need to take a parenting class and attend mediation before there is a trial.
