my friend is 14 and is in a bad home she has struggled with many thing she has knwn my mom for 10 years and my mom treats her like er own so is there any way we could adopt her??

Your mom could probably get custody easier. But, these things are very serious legal matters. They don't happen just because you think it is the right thing to do. You might see if there is a legal assistance program in your county. Call the State Bar Association. They're on the web and in the telephone book. You will need a lawyer for this - assuming your mother feels like you do. Good Luck.
