ex took child out of state on vacation

My ex took my daughter to Cali, we live in Texas. I had said NO to this because it is on my court appointed visitation time with her! She took her anyways and now they are gone for about two weeks!! What can i do as of now? Call the police?

Find a good family law attorney. Based on the full facts of the situation, he or she will know what to do.

The police probably won't do anything.

Therefore, I agree with Pat Bushman. You defintely need to call a family law attorney and file "contempt" on her.

The attorney will explain your options and that the judge might make her pay some of your legal fees if she violated the court's order.

I highly recommend Pat. Be sure to let her know that I told you that! LOL
