Child support age limit

I am divorced my final decree states that he pays support until the children graduate high school.It futher states any child's disabiliies are otherwise removed for general purposes.My question is finish paying at age 18 or does it automaticaly continue if they choose to continue thier education.We also have a disabled child.If he is not liable to help with futher education what are my options to ensure that my children can continue to recieve financial help from their father to help them through college

You need to get the disabled child's child support modified to continue after the child turns 18 or graduates from high school. If the child is disabled, child support would continue as long as the child lives.

The other child's child support will terminate upon graduation from high school or turns 18.

Texas does not have c.s. for college.

Therefore, the father's income will NOT be considered for federal forms when the child applies for financial aid for college.

However, if you have re-married the new husband's income will count toward the financial aid available to the child for college.
