Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Support

I own my own business and the court is only looking at by gross income to figure child support payments. How do I get them to look at my net income/loss to set child support payments?

What income statements have you submitted? Your tax returns with schedule C attached would have provided your net income for consideration. You can email me directly if you wish. TCL

I'd have at least the last two years tax returns. Also, plan on having your CPA or bookkeeper testify as to the expenses.

If you receive discovery, you will need to produce all copies of bank accounts, accounts payable and receivable, etc.

If you don't have an attorney, you need one!

Good luck!
