Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Support and college

My son is 17 and next year will graduate from high school - the divorce papers say the child support will continue if the child is in college and that we will split the college cost - the ex is saying he is not going to do either one - what are my rights? I live in Texas and was divorced in Texas.

You might have to file a motion to enforce if he doesn't pay. You have to wait until he defaults however.
