child support out of country

My ex is planning on moving to Australia with my 12 year old daughter. Am I still obligated to pay child support?

Yes.

You do have some options (there may be more after you consult with an attorney but here are a couple)...

If you don't them to move, then you need to file to modify.

Or, Since transportation will increase, you can also ask to modify and reduce your child support because of the cost of transporation.

You need to talk to an attorney about all of your options.
