Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child support

My decree states the father must pay child support until age 18 or graduation whichever is last. But in a previos question answered it says he must pay until age 21 if the child is enrolled in college full time and not supporting himself. Please clarify I am confused...

Re: child support

Don't know what previous question you are referring to, but your decree rules you! The end of child support is normally 18 or graduation, whichever comes last. Texas orders/decrees cannot extent enforceable child support to age 21 while the child is a full-time student. Other states may have other rules.
