Child Support

i was divorced in 1990 and was ordered to pay child support and did for sometime now one of my kids are in juvinile lockup the other married and has been since she was 15 and the other has graduated i am still getting child support bills that i owe money my ex has wrote letters to the courts telling them i owe nothing and it is all wrong but i am being sent bills every month and have been for years oweing alot and i don't know what to do or how to get their attention to this problem for i have no money for a lawyer.what am i to do

You need to contact one or all of the following, let them know of your situation, and ask them for guidance: 1) Child Support Division of AG's office at 800-252-8014; 2) fathers advocacy project (512) 472-3247; or 3) 800-777-3247. Also, if the suit can be filed in Travis County, you should contact Legal Aid of Central Texas (in phone book).
