child support
I was divorced on Sept 23rd. I was ordered to pay $800 in child support but only make 28k a year. I was not made aware of the court date. What do I file to go back to court.

It seems that your spouse got a default judgment for divorce that included child support payment that is not the standard. You have to file a SAPCR or a Suit Affecting Parent Child Relationship to get your child support adjusted. Let us know if you need help understanding this. Good Luck.

For a period of 30 days after a judgment is entered, a party can file a motion for new trial. You need to visit with and hire an attorney on Monday, and they need to get a Motion for New Trial filed in your behalf. It must be filed within 30 days of Sept. 23rd. If you let the 30 days expire, it will be more difficult and expensive to correct.
