Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child support and dna test

I married my now ex wife when she was 3 months pregnant. Theres no way the baby could be mine but I signed the birth certificate anyways. I was ordered to pay child support starting August 1 of this year. If I got a dna test done to prove she isn't my biological daughter would the judge release me from paying for a child thats not mine? Her real father is in her life and she knows who he is and sees him everyday. Please help me i need some answers, Also I have another child I pay support for and I am currently married and have another son. So I have 3 children 2 of which I pay child support for. I make only 34,500 before taxes yearly and pay for health insurance of 580 a month for both kids...I'm paying 387$ biweekly for both children..Is this right? I think it's way to much.

Re: Child support and dna test

AS to the second part of your question -

The total child support you're paying may be a little high, but since you're paying child support on 2 children in 2 separate households it doesn't seem too extreme.

It's probably way too late to ask for a DNA test. You should have done that before the child support hearing. Now you're going to have to go through a difficult and lengthy legal process just to have a chance to get a DNA test - and it's not likely to happen. Good Luck.
