If the father of your baby signs over his parental rights, is he still obligated to pay child support?

Re: child support
he can't just sign over his parental rights. Only a judge can make that decision by order of the court. Children are not puppies that can be dealt with by simply signing a document. No judge is going to sign an order terminating the father's parental rights until another father has adopted the child. The birth father will be responsible to pay child support until that happens. Good Luck.
