Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If child support, from the father, is voluntarily signed back over to him by the mother, what are her responsibilities for financial support for the children ? Does the father now just have extra cash each month, or is that allotted amount still supposed to be used for the children, by the father ?

The father has met his financial obligation to the children. He has paid his court ordered child support. That is all he is ordered to do by the court.

I don't understand why the mother is giving the father the mother. She should use the money for the children.

Since she gives the money to the father, he is free to use the money for anything he wants -- gambling, his girl friend, liquor, drugs, etc.
