Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child support

I filed for child support and i got served the papers, and then i received a paper in the mail. It said that they must serve my ex before they can proceed to court. my ex just moved and wont tell me where his location is, but he wont allow me to keep track of him to get him served so we can go to court. what do i do about getting child support out of him? Do i just sit back and wait for him to be found and get served or do i need to hire a lowyer?

Re: child support

Although the OAG provides this service, they have a tremendous caseload, and are not going to put out the effort you need. You would probably get better results if you retained a private attorney. The OAG will remain involved, and actually, through access to employment taxes, might be very helpful to your attorney.
