Child support

My husband has joint custody of his daughter. She is now 16 and has recently moved to her mother's home. She has lived with the father for 13 years and the mother has never paid child support. The mom is now saying we should pay child support. How will this work if taken to court?

Your husband needs to talk with a good family law attorney. His failure to obtain or enforce a child support order really has nothing to do with his duty to support his daughter now.
