Re: child support

Assuming that you are not paying child support for any other children, the statutory amount of child support you can be ordered to pay is 20% of your net income for one child. The percentage rises to 25% for two children; 30% for three or more chidren. These percentages apply to only the first $6000.00 of your MONTHLY income. There is no statutory requirement that your ex spend the funds in any particular way. Paying bills sounds like a good way to use it.
