child support for legal age child

My husband is the father of 20 year old. He has not been legally recognized as the father. Mother has never asked fro support. Now asking for support. Is he legall obligated to pay?

If he is the father the answer is yes. Why? because it's the law and the law does not like to see fathers get by without paying child support. So the statute of limitations to make a claim is 10 years after the child turns 18. Might be a good time to request a DNA just to be sure. Gonna cost him $400-$500 just to be sure. Good Luck.
