Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child support modification

I am seeking a modification of child support from my ex-husband, who's income greatly increased 6 months after our divorce. (We have been divorced for 3 years). He moved to Maryland and I still live in Texas. Can he have the venue changed from Texas to Maryland? Is his veteran benefits part of his annual income?

Re: child support modification

Venue for the child support case is where the child lives. File your Motion to Modify where you live assuming you still live in the county where the original divorce was granted. Child support is calculated on income from any source.
