Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child support

Can a mother raise the child support amount that she recieves even though the father is remarried with another child or expecting one? Does it even matter about the other child or not?

What is the maximum percent of wages that the state can withhold from the father for child support? Does it matter if there are several different women in the matter? Is there a maximum percent or is it 25% per woman?

Re: Child support

Child support as a percentage of net income is based on the number of chidren you pay child support for not the number of custodial parents. The maximum percentage in Texas is 30% of the first $6000 of MONTHLY income. Visit an attorney to discuss your particular circumstances.
