Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If child support is paid taken out of my ex's check automatically and sent to me, once my son graduates and is no longer eligible who is responsible for letting the state know to change the amount from 2 children to 1 child? My ex did not let them know and they continuted to send me the amount for 2 kids for 2 months. Am I legally obligated to return the excess money to him?

I suggest that you take the "extra" money and put it aside (maybe even in its own separate account).

And you should write a letter to the employer and tell him that one of the children has "emancipated." The wage withholding order will tell them what to do about it.
