Child support and getting a passport

I paid all arrears and am current on my child support. The State of Texas has a hold so I can't get a passport. Now that I'm paid up, how can I get them to release so I can get a passport?

If you have provided proof of your current status and still cannot get the hold released, you may need to get a court order.
