Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Support

I am currently paying child support for one of my dependants. My childs mother is requesting a higher payment. Is there a grace period of six months that I can utilize before the higher payment kicks in? We are currently utilizing the attorney general system.

Not that I know of. You have the right to have your own attorney, even when you are dealing the AG, so go talk to a family law attorney. Having an attorney may very well save you money in the long run.
