When is a child support payment considered late and when will the AG get invovled?

Child support is due on its due date. It's late if it's one day late.
It is to be paid to the State Disbursement Unit in San Antonio, unless your order says otherwise (and it doesn't).
If it's 30 days late, it becomes a judgment. Believe it or not, that's what the Family Code says. It begins to draw interest at the rate of 6% per annum until paid.
The AG usually takes action when the account gets to be 90 days in arrears.
