Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child support over payment

My x did not notify me or the courts that my child had married. In fact my x told me the child was still in school. The child also joined the USMC at 19. I paid child support till he was 20 and a half as my x says he was in high school. My question is do I sue in the court and under the case of the divorce? Do I ask to have the order modified to reflect the date of his marriage and then have the same judge order the repayment? Do I sue the AG also for collecting. Do I use small claims to try to recover? What county should I file in? Is there a time limit as I did not find this marriage date until resent. He was married in 2004.
