Child Support Payments Lowered

I have recently retired from the navy and am looking for another job to assist in providing for my son, can I get a modification in child support to the federal minimum wage until I get a job?

If you have had a substantial change in income, you may file a motion to modify the previous order. The court may grant your motion to modify the amount you pay, but only to the level which meets the statutory percentage of your net income which includes any retirement benefits you receive.
