Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child support payments made in cash

Half of my child support payments were made in cash and others are made out in checks, money orders, and for the past 2 years were paid to the AG. The child is now 17 and mother says NO payments were ever made.

I can prove most of the payments made.

If ''Child support ''enforcement'' agencies are prone to tell you that all payments made without a court order are ''gifts'' and that you still owe support for all of those years.'' Any suggestions on how to navigate the agency and the courts?

So you know now that you "messed up". Amnesia is a horrible thing!

I strongly urge you to retain an experienced family law attorney to help you.

Patricia Bushman is an excellent attorney and she is on this website.

Be sure to tell PAT that I sent you! LOL!!!!
